We have an all-you-can eat buffet with pizza, burgers, chicken sandwiches, deli sandwiches made to order, salad bar, ice cream, and a featured entree like five different kinds of wings or stir fry or huge omelettes.
Then there's a main cafeteria made up like a mall cafeteria with several places: right now we have a sushi place, Burger King, Pizza Hut, another salad bar, an entree place, and a Quiznos. Soon we're adding a Wendy's, a pizza place, and some other latin cuisine.
In selected spots around the campus are Einstein Bagels, a kosher sandwich place, a bar and grill that serves beer, and vending machine with hot pockets/pop tarts/sandwiches/etc.
We even have a place where you can get a peanut and butter sandwich for a dollar. It's awesome.

I usually brought a bagged lunch with me and ate either outside or in an area set aside for eating--tables or an actually cafeteria/food court type of thing. I'd sometimes buy cafeteria or food court food.

Most colleges have dining halls for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The cost is covered in your tuition and board.
