Hollywood
District of the city of Los Angeles, Calif., U.S. Its name is synonymous with the American movie industry. In 1887 it was laid out as a subdivision by Horace Wilcox, a prohibitionist who envisioned a community based on his religious principles. It was consolidated with Los Angeles in 1910 and became the centre of the movie industry by 1915.

Hollywood came first as the production of motion pictures as an entertainment medium basically started in America, first in New York, then moving to LA / Hollywood. Bollywood is newer and is India's entertainment medium. I can't say for sure, but I believe that it is an attempt to make Hollywood type movies but with Indian ideals that will appeal to the Indian masses.

Hollywood has been around since Adam was a boy,late 1870's whereas India's Bollywood emerged mid 1930's, they wanted to emulate Hollywood for there own ppl since Hollywood spoke only English etc.....♥

I never heard of Bollywood but there was a thing called Vaudeville before Hollywood and the people would go there for entertainment. Hollywood then got more popular because of the movie business. Vaudeville was like a freak show and some dude would puke out whole objects that he ate

the two the south indian and Bollywood actors are solid at appearing. Bollywood actors do video clips that are lots diverse than South Indian actors. additionally,Bollywood video clips are diverse than South Indian video clips. especially,South Indian actors are actually not acceptable by using women as much as Bollywood actors are. Do women wanna get married to Kamal Hassan?No yet do women wanna get married to Shahrukh or Salman?confident
