Hmmmm. "No matter what" definitely leaves a lot open, but to protect my countrymen and my rights, yes. Chronic health condition keeps me home, but two of my brothers went ROTC in college - one finished his obligation, the other chose to remain in the Guard. He is probably leaving soon for Iraq. 2 cousins have served in Iraq, one Army and one Marine. My family has a long, proud tradition with the military. Oh, and we're not poor, either. Middle class to upper middle class - so it really pisses me off to hear people say the military is full of poor people with no options.

God bless our troops. Have a nice night.

No matter the cost involving my part in life, no matter the things I leave behind, no matter whatever goddamn spy tries to get me to turn, I will serve my country, in the name of justice.

Sounds a bit like a 1980s cartoon show or something, doesn't it?

I just retired from 35 years as a civilian with DOD. My country right or wrong, may she always be right. We may not be the best, but I'll be darned if I can see anything better out there.
