The US supports oppresive regimes in the area with weapons (chemical and biological), such as Saddam Hussein, who was hanged when they couldnt control him.
The US supports the Royal Suadi family which Al Qaeda vehemently opposes.
The US props up Israel with weapons and money. Israel attacks Lebanon indiscriminately and weakens the Christian govt. And the US didnt do anything about it!

The US govt commits crimes in the area, but the people who get punished are it's citizens. Meanwhile if sh it hits the fan and a nuclear bomb from some terrorist group would hit Washington, guess who wouldnt have a comfy underground bomb-proof bunker to hide in? us, it's citizens.

yes, but now it's too late to pull out, they really hate us now and will never let it go until they are avenged, especially after we attack Iran

Nope, I don't. I think you're a little off base here. America is a target, yes. But so is the UK, Spain, France and every other western nation. Fact is, the radical Islam movement which really heated up in the very early 70s is very active inside the borders of every western nation on the planet. It matters little who to blame at this point, what matters is what to do now? For more than 25 years, they have been teaching their doctrine of hate in every nation of western orientation. Something concrete and very politically INCORRECT must be done and soon. This isn't the time for blame.

And these people are not criminals, they are warriors committing acts of war. Sometimes, you have to take the first swing to end a fight. And the best way to end a fight in my experience is to break the other guys nose, make him bleed badly. It's usually over fast at that point.

Here's to hoping we have the stones to do what is necessary.

I'm not here to answer your question, your just looking to confirm from others what you already believe.

I just want to state that I am sooo sad that people ask such... forgive me for saying this, imbecilic "questions", instead of taking time to read a variety of books on history and acquiring as much knowledge on the subject and then try to inspire people to think differently instead of regurgitating some talking points they heard on a talk show (this goes for both sides).

This is why I believe true democracy will never work. Most people don't think for themselves.

I applaud you for your interest but do your self a favor and learn history, it will bum you out, but you'll become wiser in the process.

There is backlash. Look up history. One example is The afgan with russia. It's the usa that supplied and TRAINED bin-ladden, teliban, and others. Yes that's right, it's documented. It was our interest to make russia pay for that war, and it worked very well. After all, it did help USSR fall. But we are getting the backlash from it.

No. Their hatred goes way back in history to the Crusades. They want to kill anyone that is not a muslim. I wish a bunch of libs would go over there to try to talk to them and be their friends.
Oh! I forgot. libs ARE their friends.

Advice, stop reading the liberal blogs and try tostart learning how to think.

Your question is not a question but a statement.

Historically inaccurate and biased beyond belief. You don't want to know the truth. It is easier to blame the USA for everything.

Find better sources and study the FACTS.

I think the full answer is far more complex, but when you meddle in the sovereignty of foreign powers for decades, it will backfire sooner or later.

No,

then you might as well blame every other Country. See link below!

The terrorists are the most evil selfish people on the face of this earth. They feel the world belongs to them. They do NOT know how to share, just like an irrational toddler and are the most intolerant breed.
