I'm wondering if we'll ever go back to a time when women are confident enough to show their natural beauty, and will stop shaving their pubic hair to look like porn stars? I find the "natural" look on women very appearling. Anyone agree ?

Hard to tell if you were only asking the guys, but as a girl I will put my 2 cents in. I don't think it's a fad, because its been around too long to be considered a fad. That being said, I don't think it is going to go away, because alot of girls like the clean look. Whether it's to satisfy their man (so we look like a porn star for them) or just because it makes me feel sexy. When I first started it, it was to please a guy, but after awhile, and to this day, I do it for ME. I feel sexier smooth.

Personally, I like a nice trim. For me, it's more about length of the hair than the shape of it or anything; I'd rather there be some hair rather than none, but not too long. Kind of like two weeks' growth after shaving it- when it's no longer stubbly, but finally soft and curling. If it was between wild jungle hair or shaved, I'd take shaved. I have no problem with it, and it definitely makes going down easier.

I prefer trimmed. I don't like it wild. But as long as it's not tickling my nose or something, then I'm alright with it.
I think the shaved look is a nice change for some people every once in a while, but it's been my experience that more girls trim it down to a small strip, as opposed to going bald.

No, it's not a fad, and it has nothing to do with porn stars. Getting a "full frontal" wax (the procedure is called a Brazillian) or shaving your pubic area actually makes you feel cleaner. It also helps with hygiene, because the hair sometimes gets matted with blood when you're on your monthly. We actually don't give a crap what guys feel about what it looks like; it has more to do with what feels comfortable to us.

The "natural" look would include unshaven legs and armpits as well, dont you think? Personally, I prefer to be clean shaven. But I do think it is a personal opinion.

i have been shaving for a long time and i like it and so do my boyfriends. It's nice at times when the men is shaved to!!!

Natural is okay, as long as it's neat and trim. Nothing's worse than an out-of-control bush!

No it's not a fad. Actually it keeps the area from becoming rank because we all sweat down there too. Most women prefer to shave because it's easier to maintain the area and probably their man prefers it too!

Middle Eastern women have been removing their public hair for centuries, it's part of their culture.
The hair down there doesn't really serve any purpose.
I should add it's not just women but also some men who keep their hair down there removed.
It's just a matter of personal preference.

i think its all about choice really. some like it shaved and some just don't. hey, in france they don't even shave their legs. just depends on the person.
