My periods have always been regular. I have been on the pill for a long time. The periods are coming even though I am religious about taking my pill every day at the same time. I have also lost 10 pounds in the last month and a half.

Excess periods are not normal if they just appear out of no where. You need to see a physician regarding this problem. Causes could range from hormone imbalances, cancer, injury, or std's. Please consult a physician to rule out any serious reasons.

Please see a gynocologist asap, I went thru this at the same age! U did not say if the periods r heavy, but mine were. I went had blood work done, was severley anemic, and then had a sonogram had fibroid tumors. I had ignored the extra long menstral cycle so long, when I had surgery one tumor was 18lbs! So go asap, U may just need to get off the pill, but believe me you need to go. I am so glad I did! The weight loss could be due to the pill, hormones not just a serious issue as cancer, but U have to find out now please!!! My prayers R with U. Let me know how u do I accept email.

This is something to really worry about. Go see your
doctor ASAP. This could be a sign of something serious like cervical cancer.
My aunt had that. Thats what her first symptom was.
BTW, she had a hysterectomy and chemo and is fine, now.

Please see a doctor and get a gyno exam. This is not a good thing that you are menstrating this frequently.
