can any one tell me how to turn off pop up blocker?

I tried to pay a bill online, and a pop up window appears, I thought I turned it off, but it still says a window was blocked, can any one help me?

when I click on tools, it shows pop up blocker if off, but when I click on the web site I want to pay my bill, it gives me that pop sound, and said a pop up window has stopped me from viewing my bill. I have done all of the suggestions. and it still blocks me.

Depends on what you are using - normally - just click on the tools and either pop-up option
(turn it off), or options and turn it off. Most times you will see on your tool bar a choice to allow a pop-up for this site.

You have not said which Pop-Up blocker software you use.

If you use Internet Explorer Pop-Up blocker then do the following.

1)Select Tools from the menu bar.

2)In the Pop-Up blocker section, just unmark the pop-up blocker.

You can even add a site to the trusted section in the pop-up blocker so that the pop-up's don't get blocked.

Turn off your pop up blocker at your own peril! You obviously have never had the misfortune of clicking a link and having 17,000 new windows open on your screen, utterly obliterating everything you were interested in with a blanket of crap so thick it takes an hour to close! Think before you click!

Hi there. Yes, all the other people's answers are right, but there's a much better way if you're WANT to have a popup window just this one time/page.
Before you press a button, or click on a link, just before that message says it was blocked, hold down either the SHIFT key, or the CTRL key. To turn it off permanantly, so what the others suggested.

you see the little X mark near the thing that pops up? Right click it then click turn off pop up blocker

you can turn off pop up blocker totally by double clicking on the 2nd box on the bottom of the screen, kinda to the right of the screen.

You have to go the pop up blocker control and tell it to allow pop ups from all websites.

u go to tools on ure toolbar then u go to pop up blocker and hit turn off pop up blocker

U can click on it & it will allow pop ups. I do not suggest U remove it. That's how I allow em is just click on that icon & pop up come through. Hope this helped.
