all web sites load great-- but i have 2 sites i use to frequent often that just won't seem to load now. but i can use my brothers puter and they load just fine !!! i have check all settings i can think of . running xp home--explore 7.0

The reason the site is loading slowly could be a number of reasons. First it will depend on the server that site is located on and how many resources are being requested at one given time. The other could have to do with cookies. Cookies enable your pc to "remember" where you've visited so is going to load up faster w/cookies and slower w/out. IE is slower then a turtle if you ask me. Use Firefox instead. It's much faster. Internet traffic at the time of day is also another factor. So, it's really hard to narrow it down to just one thing.

Sounds like they are working on them. Do U get any message? U might need to run a manual scan on Ur puter to make sure U dont have a virus or anything. U might want to def-rag it as well, it will run faster. Is your security software current? If not I would get McAfee 8-N-1 best one I've ever had. Hope this helped.

well, try using mozilla firefox for a change.. in my opinion, i like to use firefox for security reasons... they will be updated frequently if required and it's alot secured than microsoft explorer.
