biotech is somewhat hampered by the very costly trials it must go through to prove that it in fact works Nanotech on the other hand is less hampered and also has much wider application.

I would say that Biotech is more successful at the moment. Nonotechnology still has quite a few years to go in R&D before it'll be much of a commercial success. Once it reaches that point it might have more commercial potential than Biotech because of it's broad applications.

If you need a good investment now then go Biotech. If you want something that could be substantially profitable in the future (I would guess 5 to 25 years maybe) then invest in Nanotech now and reap the rewards when Nanotech becomes a mature technology.

by definition, biotech has to do with biology. Nanotech advances can be used in biotech and a thousand other technologies from batteries to making better equipment used to harvest zucchinis. So I would vote for nanotech as having greater potential.

Good question dude!! I think nanotech will help more in curing people but biotech will probably get you better gains in the stock market.
