Liverpool will be like another Chelsea, keep buying the best players in the world with ridiculous amount of money and expect to win titles every year. This is bad for the game. It will only make the whole game becoming a monopoly of the riches. The smaller teams will suffer as a result as they are not able to compete with them. Liverpool will keep buying world class players and their youth players will be sidelined. Look at what Chelsea has done so far. All the "youth" players they have are bought from other clubs, rather than they developed through their own teams. Some of these "youth" players may not even play for their team as well. This spell bad for the development of English football, and England's national team will suffer eventually.

Yes, the new owner will give the manager huge transfer money to buy new players. They can get larger football stadium to earn more revenues. They can bring success to the club which they have been starved for many years. The success will bring joy to all Liverpool fans worldwide, but it will also mean the players will get complacent once they have tasted success. Players will be like mercenaries, and they will play where the $$$ are. They don't play for the club because they love the club.

So it is a matter of perspective. It is always good to have someone pump in $$$ to bring success to the club. But it will also mean there will be sacrifices to the game that we know of. There will be no love lost for the players that are joining or leaving the clubs. We used to idolise players who grew with the club, but now, it is a different ball game.

Inevitable. Means more money to spend on new signings, new stadium and mega profits for shareholders. Nothing bad because nearly everything else remains unchanged. The Britishness of the game was gone when EPL opened its door to foreign players (look at Arsenal; even the stadium is called Emirates). I think it's not good to comply to sponsor's demand in this way. The attraction of EPL is the English aspect - name of stadium, venue, fans singing, style of game, etc. I'd hate to see the new Liverpool Stadium with an arab sounding name. Anfield is Liverpool as Old Trafford is Man Utd. Sounds trivial but yeah it's the little details all coming together to make EPL as the BIGGEST football league competition in the world.

Ultimately it is what every club in England sould do. Liverpool need to be abl;e to compete against the other three clubs. On and off the field, I do not think that we will go down the same road as chelski though. Liverpool does have a much higher ethos when it comes to players.

A stadium of 60000 will be brilliant for getting in the correct funds needed to draw big names.

Benitez will not leave Liverpool. He snubbed real madrid last season and besides with all the politics with real and chelski, he doesn't havethat much pressure.

"Liverpool football club is here to win things and make people happy, other than that it has no other function"

dont think they will be another chelski but they will have extra funding which they badly need.Once the stadium is built then they'll not only have the home support to balance the books but the worldwide fan base will expand to massive levels.I think all this spells good things for liverpool fc.
