I do not know but maybe the rope was too long and it tightened down so tight that it just cut the head off.

stressful to be attentive to what to do with a guy like that. i think of the allies have been relieved Hitler committed suicide because of the fact the spectable of him being tried and hanged could have purely been too annoying.
