Well, that's a tough question. By saying something to her you it could cost your friendship. If it's bothering you so much are you willing to lose her as a friend? Really give it alot of thought before you do say something. If you could find out why she feels like she needs to do the same thing, is it because she likes the way you do things?

I had a friend like that. I didn't do anything about it, but I just told her that I wanted or did it first. =) At least get some credit. Anyhow, I didn't make a big deal out of it. It later went away because it didn't bother me anymore. I actually grew to enjoy being with her more and wanted her to have the same stuff and do things together. When high school came, we were very much separated. =( I don't really care anymore. I know she's a good friend and that's all that matters! =) Cherish your time with her

Yes. Oh god yes. In my experience it has always ended with the friendship being no more, as i just cant stand them any more!!! And it hard to know what to say. How about you just tell them right out, seeing as its better then stewing inside and end up not friends at all!!! Or you could try something new and crazy that she'd never go for . .

"copying someone is the highest form of a compliment" ohhmygoodness thats the most annyoing quote ever
if i were you, i'd start out jokingly hinting her to stop.. but just keep on getting more serious each time
if she doesnt take the hint, say to her that you feel it cool for best friends to be similar, but its lame if they're exactly the same

Say something like, "It's cool that you like what I do and stuff, but wouldn't it better if you found something that you're naturally good at?" or something along those lines to clear the air without being harsh. Or is there anything that you know she's good at or does on her own? Push her in that direction!

I have a best friend like that too. she just barely wants to cut her hair short because me and one of my other friends have short hair. She's always copied me or one of my other bestfriends (who is also her best friend). Calmly say "you know I don't really want you to be copiing me all the time" and maybe help her find her OWN look.

Quit doing easy stuff and consider excelling above her with the ole noodle. You have a golden opportunity to make a difference in another persons life... don't screw it up!

it is really hard, because i also had a friend like that, and normally this type of people do not realize what they are doing. If you will attempt to tell her that she is mimicking your character she will be really offended. encourage her to think on her own
talk to her and help her feel unique.

the only thing u can do is ask her to stop. There is no nice way to tell someone to quit if they are into the habit.

Just gently ask her why. Maybe she admires you and wants to be like you and doesn't even know you're bothered by it. She obviously cares about you and wouldn't want to upset you, she can't fix something she doesn't know she's breaking.
