Want a private beach holiday vacation. That does not cost a whole lot of money, But is relaxing for a women and her sister. To sit back in enjoy the ocean. Hopefully it will be in the US.

If you're interested in the Oregon coast, there are some lovely cottages to be found here. A similar question was asked a week or so ago and I would give you the same advice.

You could try some of the beaches in Oregon. Although it is not as warm as Florida. Near Seaside, OR. Cannon beach and south from there...Some areas have beach houses for rent and some areas have motels. I went in September once and it was great. A little cool at nite.
These beaches are very beautiful relaxing....check out the sea lion caves a elevator takes you there... I think Cannon beach is peaceful. look @webshots.com

Sorry, I know you said US but in NZ we have some wonderful secluded beaches where you can just chill out and relax. You can stay in people's holiday homes that are not in use, a little internet research should yeild plenty of results, otherwise, the motels here aren't too expensive. If you can afford the airfare I strongly recommend you give it a whirl. It is summertime and the sun is shining, not too hot, just right. Try Gisbourne, beautiful beaches and bays and friendly people.

I have never paid for it but supposedly going to St John, USVI and renting a villa is cheaper than getting a hotel in Destin, Florida but only if you have frequent flyer miles.

Honeymoon Key - in Clearwater Florida - very few people know of it and you can get there by car - have fun!
