This is a problem, I am not a parent but a young adult that has two parents that are seperated. I currently live with my mother and sister, my dad pays support to my mom for her, and child support for myself and my sister but once I move out of the house my father can discontinue payments of support because I am not living with her but if I move back in later on he still doesn't have to pay.

Anyways, that is not the question. My father will do whatever he can to not pay money to mother whether for extra child support (government raised the amount he had to pay) or if it is being paid out of his retirement pension. He will do anything to hold onto his money as long as possible just to frustrate my mother.

My mother has a company that forces my father to pay support for her and child support for us or they will garnish his wages. This company (might be run by the government, I don't know the name of the company either) is there specifically to make sure he pays.

You are not alone. Good luck.

I get tired of people hollering about "deadbeat" dads. What about deadbeat mothers? I'm talking about the ones that have fathers of their children that provide support both financial and physically by being there for them, taking them places, doing things with them etc and the woman constantly allienates the children against the man. What about the women that exploit the system by receiving a good amount of child support, consistantly and refuses to maintain steady employment, lies and receives aide from the state and other social programs designed for those that do not have an education or the means to provide a reasonable of
comfort.

Well the deadbeat that I have owes over $1,000 at one time it was over $2,000.00 but I got his tax check LOL boy was he mad. Now he is claiming he doesn't have a job but is driving a brand new "06" Chevy full size truck. He gets away with it all the time. My husband now has a child and he pays CS and is never late but he never gets to see his daughter. I think men like my child's sperm donor makes men like my husband look bad.
