It might be your opinion but this is the most pathetic and selfish sentiments I have ever heard. First go and tell all those rich sports, movie and music celebrities doing nothing about charity........... then talk about Oprah. You are ridiculously myopic (you prob too dumb to know what it means, get a dictionary), Fool... that school is a lifetime investment that will be used by millions of underpriviledged kids, what do you mean few students, that school will be available for ever and will breed the best doctors and lawyers and business people to help Africa and the world develop, You probably feel jealous of those kids who lived in shaks and are now moving to a world class facility. You should be ashamed of yourself. Oprah cant save the whole world. Dont expect too much from people, who are you to budget her money. Type of people like you when they get rich dont donate even an old shoe to charity. Truth is hard to swallow ha?

Perhaps she feels the parents of the US children in need should be doing more for them, and are less worse off than the kids overseas.

Nope. She's not obligated to donate any of her time and/or money so what ever she does should be appreciated rather than expecting her to do more.
