What do you think about Mary Kay cosmetics?

My friend is selling this makeup. Have you used it? Do you like it? Any recommendations?

TRY THE PRODUCTS!!! They are AWESOME!! I know you can get something similar somewhere else for cheaper, but I have learned you get what you pay for! If you spend a bit extra for better skin care and cosmetics you will get better quality! Mary Kay cosmetics are for the most part water proof and smudge proof! And the skin care comes in different formulas so you can customize it for your skin! Just find a consultant near you and ask her for a complimentary facial, I'm sure she would be glad to help you out!! Good Luck!!

I've been using Mary Kay product for about 15 years now. I love it. The TimeWise line is great, so give your friend a call and schedule a facial.
Also Mary Kay is one of the few companies which DOES NOT participate in animal testing.

They are fabulous. It's the number one selling brand in the country for many years. The skin care is well-researched and the prices are very competitive. The foundations have great color selections and are invisible on the skin. I've worked for 10 different prestige cosmetic lines that were more money and I find the MK products to be superior for less. Check out the link:

To the poster who stated Mary Kay tests on animals............Get your facts straight!!

I AM a bit partial as a consultant, but I also used the product for years before I ever decided to sell.......Many women believe products from discounts stores are just as good and that is so not true!! Give it a chance and use it for atleast 3-4 weeks, to give your skin a chance to regenerate and allow the product to do its thing!!

The makeup is excellent but is not what Mary Kay is all about, think Skin Care! Healthy even toned skin!!

I've used Mary Kay products a few times, I really liked the mascara, but besides that, nothing stood out to me. I personally like Avon better.

Mary Kay is great. My skin used to be oily and full of pimples but after I used Mary Kay my skin is clear and beautiful.

Mary Kay is pretty good. I like the glosses, but generally I am more of a MAC girl.

LOVE IT! My favorite products are the microdermabrasion, satin lips, oil mattifier and oil free hydrating gel. I sell too, and think the company is great. I think its a great testement to the product that you hear of so many people that used the product and liked it so much that they sign up to sell it.

You wont know its quality if you dont try it yourself. When i joined avon, i have to purchase some for my use because the consultant said I could sell better if I experience the product.

I LOVE the skin care! Strangely, I don't buy the colors much. Don't know why. But, I buy the skin care and foundation and get comments about how I don't look my age. I've been using it since college.
