When I'm sad I do things that I enjoy. For example, I buy a big ole chocolate cake and I watch the entire first two seasons of The Osbournes. Or, I'll go shopping, spending money on clothes and makeup always makes me feel better. Or, getting my hair done completely different. Do what ever it is that you enjoy best.

You should go hang out with some of your friends or family. Someone who is good at making you laugh. No matter how troubled you might be now, laughing can help lessen your sad feelings. For now... here's a big online hug for you! I'm sorry I can't do more, and I hope you cheer up soon!

laugh about anything around you or at least try.
today I didn't stop laughing about silly things
and I'm not that happy usually ...I'm always under stress
but take the time to step back and relax.
Think about the people that are in worse situations
people who don't even have the priviledge to use the internet.
one more advise
did you see the movie THE PERUIT OF HAPPINESS?
how about LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE?
these are really good movies about happiness
don't worry be happy

I listen to music, watch a movie or play playstyation or PC games. The Sims helps to cheer me up sometimes.
But I agrre with others, you need to determine why you are sad, if it's really serious you may need to seek professional help. But in most cases the above will suffice.

It depends on why you are sad, and how long. If it has just been a couple of days, you can probably get out of it by changing your routine. If it has been 2 weeks- to- several months, then you are probably suffering from clinical depression and you need to seek professional help.

Start with turning off your computer, stop relying on people from the internet...open up the big yellow book near your telephone, and find a mental health professional to help you through this...seriously!!!
