I'd look at it and say to you, "hey! Does this look half empty or full? If I hold it like this, it looks like it's half full, but if I hold it like this...."
lmao!
The moral of the story is, no matter how you look at it, there's always going to be different ways to perceive the glass. And there's always other factors that make it look more full or empty........ I love metaphors......
