Do the asians,hispanics and whites have a month too? What if there was a white heritage month? Would us whites ever hear the end of it? It'd be all over the news.

Hispanics have hispanic heritage month in september. Asians have, i don't know what it's called, but they have this celebration in march to celebrate their culture and stuff. now some whites do have a special month. Take the Irish and the Dutch for example. they have month long celebrations of their heritage, and obviously you haven't heard of it. it hasn't been on the news, i guess. if you really want a month for white americans, start one and leave us alone.

Because, in my opinion, that until recently the Black people were not even in the history books--except mentioned as slaves. They neglected to mention all of the smart and talented African Americans who served their country in war, and suffered during the years of segregation.

I believe that the Hispanics will get a month at some point as well. They also deserve it, after also not even being mentioned in history books, except perhaps as bandits, etc. until recent years. There are also many Hispanics who served in wars, were treated as second class citizens, and had talent.

As for White people, we don't deserve a month. We stole the Native Americans land, took the African Americans as slaves, and also stole Mexican land.

Maybe you should start a white hertiage month, so you can stop wasting your time hating on what black people have and do. What do you have to do during February to celebrate Black History Month? I'm guessing nothing, so leave us alone. Are you mad that black people would be proud of their history and the progress we have made? What is the real problem?

Black people haven't accomplished much really besides in music and a handful of sports (Basketball, track and field, etc). Whites have so many accomplishments we would literally need a year devoted to celebrating it.
