i had this dream that i had sex with this friend of mine.. he's a guy, and i guess we're pretty good friends. we dated a while ago but i had this awkward dream that we were more than friends. does this mean anything? i like someone else at th e moment, not him, and this dream has made me confused.

Dreams are your brain's way of dealing with subconcious issues by bringing them up and attaching images to them.
You say you "like" someone else, not that you're going out with him. Maybe you have sex on your mind, but the most recent face to attach to sex is the guy you dated and stayed friends with. You could be doing something like comparing relationships (old friends, dates, new guys you like, etc.) in your mind.
You could have issues related to the fact that you dated someone but ended up friends.
There are any number of ways your mind could take certain issues/feelings and add the image of this person for the purpose of the dream. It may have been a weird dream, but you can probably just write it off to yet one more crazy dream that doesn't particularly mean anything.

Dreams let you know that you are still alive. Don't go by what dreams tell you. They are rarely accurate as to specific feelings. They merely let your brain get rid of certain pent up emotions, clearing the tracks, so to speak, ready for the next series of events. Most dreams are rarely remembered the following morning and by the next day or two the very vivid ones are usually gone.

Having sexual dream often shows sign of your desire in sex. If you don't think of it subconsciously, you won't dream about it. It is normal. Some dreams are looking into the future, but others are just a fantasty. If it felt real it probably will happen, but if it was like you were just watching a movie then it probably won't happen.
