My 1988 Toyota Landcruiser.

It was reliable and a rugged workhorse, but with 155 horsepower and 4700 lbs of curb weight it was a SLUG. Solid axles and leaf springs front and rear so it rode and handled like a covered wagon from the 1800s' LOL.

Gas mileage of a V8 with the horsepower of a 4 cylinder, but when it was all said and done, it was reliable as a timex and it would plow through any terrain like a knife through butter. Just don't expect to get from 0-60 mpg in any less than 19 seconds. LOL.

well, i cannot afford a Jag...however it seems i have that kind of relationship with every car, truck, or van i own in my life time.
love that it is there, hate it that it picks the most inconvenient and usually coldest time to lay down and just die, or develope some problem that is tantamount to it's death, 'cause i'll replace it before i spend a whole bunch of money on it.
seems every time i start to have fun and enjoy a particular ride, some idiot runs a red light and totals it for me...

'84 T-Bird. After that I would NEVER, EVER buy a Ford again. Family had 10 Fords up to then. Since a Jag is a Ford now-a-days, they are out too.

My current car: a 1999 Hyundai Tiburon.

I'm taking it on and having them do a complete inspection to give me an estimate on how much it would cost to fix EVERYTHING. If it's more than the trade value on Blue Book, I'm getting a new car.

She looks pretty though.

My '63 Valiant 2 dr hardtop. I had trouble finding parts, so I used what I could to keep it running, and finally had to get rid of it when I couldn't find transmission parts. It still ran great, but wouldn't go anywhere. Loved that car. Hated all the fixing.

My current 4Runner. It was a nightmare to buy, got jerked around by the salesman, the dealership manager, the finance manager. I walked out & they ran after me to offer me the deal I'd wanted all along.

It took me about 3 years before I even started liking the darn truck after that.

1974 Pontiac Ventura

Indestructable GM 350, shoddy front end, no seat belts. It was a screamer and a deathtrap at the same time.

White, 4 doors, baby moon hub caps.

God, I miss that tank.

Jetta TDI, I wanted to love it or at least like it, it was my first new car, but I hated it and traded it for a different car in less than 2 years.
