You want to at least make an appointment. I am 9 weeks along and due the 21st of Aug and my last period was the 14 of nov.
Start taking vitamins now to help the process! The doctor sometimes won't see you until you are between 8 and 12 weeks.

It is best to make an appointment with a doctor or nurse practitioner as soon as you can after a positive HPT.
Where I live, the doctor didn't want to see me (or any pregnant woman who's not high risk) before the 12th week. But we have Nurse Practitioners. Make the appointment for the clinic pregnancy test, go into the lab, take the test (either blood or urine depends on the lab and the needs) then visit with the nurse. At least that's how it was for me. Soon as I finished up in the lab and waited in the waiting room a nurse brought me into a room, gave me the results, and gave me some information. Then the nurse practitioner came in and we talked a bit then told me to make one appointment with her and one with my OB/GYN. She also called in a prescription for prenatal vitamins for me right away. She gave me appointment cards that she wrote down when to come back (time frame) and I went out and made the appointments. Saw her again, and 1 week later I saw my doctor.
Prenatal care is extreamly important. It's never too early to start.

It's not to early!! Go and get checked. The earlier the better. I just found out I'm pregnant a couple weeks ago and I have an appointment Feb 1st. It doesn't matter how far along your still pregnant and need to make sure everything is ok.

They like you to go between 8 and 10 weeks. So call and get an appointment you are today 8 weeks and 4 days so now is a good time to get checked. Which makes you due August 23, 2007. (That is based on a regular 28 day cycle) Hope this helps. Best of luck!

Uh... I'd make an appointment. You should see the doctor at 10 weeks. Some see the doctor earlier. There is lots of care a pregnant woman needs. You need to be taking your prenatal vitamins, etc. I'd make an appointment.
If you had a regular cycle of 28 days you'd be about 8 and 4/7 weeks pregnant. I think it would be a good idea to call. It took me 4 weeks to get into my doctor. :)

No, it is not too early. You should probably go just to get the blood test to make sure that it is a pregnancy and not something else. After that, they will probably schedule you for an appointment at 10-14 weeks for the first ultrasound.

You are between 8-9 weeks. I went to my first appointment at 8 weeks. You should start seeing a doctor now. Also.. here is a cool site to help you see when you are due and how far along you are. Good luck

It's never too early to go, esspecially if you're not sure how far along you are. They may want to see you to do an early ultrasound for dating purposes.
I would at least call your OBGYN and ask. It may take a while to get an appointment, so I would call.
