Don't believe that! Hair doesn't have any connexion with your delivery!
I got a haircut weeks before having my first baby and everything went well.
I am on my third pregnancy and planning to cut it again.
Good luck!

I've never heard that it's bad luck. Most pregnant women get the urge to cut their hair. I did. I waited until my daughter was 4 months old, I wanted to make sure that's what I really wanted. I had dreadlocks I had been sporting for 4 years. I wanted to be certain of my decision before throwing away all that hard work. I felt I was sure, and you know what...I regretted it anyway. It felt good for about a week...and then I cried and cried and cried. Luckily my hair grows quickly, and I was obviously fine. If I were you I would wait, pregnancy makes you want to do all kinds of crazy things.

You should do what feels right for you and if cutting your hair will make the transition on becoming a new mommy then do it it might save you time and hassle so those moments that you had spent on your hair before hand can be spent with the little angel that you will great warmly. Best of luck and congrats!

I cut mine about 3 months ago. I am 39 weeks pregnant. do what yo want. I think it is easier to take care of yourself with shorter hair. Much easier. I cut off eleven inches and donated it to locks of love.

it will grow back.

That's just a old superstition. Cutting your hair is not harmful to you or to the baby. Go ahead and do it. You'll look fresher in those First Photos!

I really doubt that is true. I was going to cut my hair too. But decided not to. I'd do what you would like to do. It's your hair. :)

I would wait........only because after your baby is born, you'll need to get out of the house!! Then, you can get it dyed or hi-light it too, and it will be safe. That's what I plan to do anyways, I'm 9 mos. as well:))) Good Luck to you!
