Ok, I have a boyfriend, and I'm absolutely in love with him. But I also have a friend, Matt, who I've known for a long time, and who's always been there for me & me for him. He's like my brother. But for some reason, I tend to have dreams about me and him being together, dating. I even had one about us getting married. We've never dated or anything, though we've both admitted to having past crushes on eachother, like, 2 years ago. We always help eachother with our relationships and such. What I'm asking is if it means anything. Is it normal to think of really close friends of the opposite sex in this way, or do I really have these kinds of feelings for him? I really love my boyfriend, I just need to know if my dreams about us being together mean anything.

There's nothing wrong with that. You've got feelings towards him. These are good happy friendly being-close to him feelings. You can't sort out relationship feelings and these friendly feelings. You love him. You're not IN love with him.

I have had experiences like this. Everyone thinks like that. When I do I just imagine what it would be like if we broke up, It would ruin our friendship. Your relationship would be totally different. Ignore your dreams if u r satisfied with ur BF. If u do get together u will never give anyone else a chance b/c u dont want to ruin a friendship. Tell him how u feel if u r comfortable and talk about it.

Its means he's causing you to have restless sleep which means its not working well. It also mean it bothers you a lot that he ignores you. Teen years are about finding people you get along well with. Maybe you'd be better off friends. He's not as ready to be a couple as you seem to be. He'd rather hangout with his friends all the time.

SOme would say that the dreams we have help to balance out or wants and our needs. It does not mean you want to marry your friend but it could mean that when you do find your love that you want them to have many of the same qualities as he has.

i think you don't love your boyfriend that much, and if that is your best friend then tell him, i think really that you have strong feelings subconsciously and don't admitted or your block in it, so just be honest to yourself and to him, maybe you can work something out both of you, and your current boyfriend maybe he is just in the way because if you really love him you wouldn't be asking or having doubts about your friend, the dream is trying to tell you something, r u really happy the way things r?

it is wrong to think of your friend this way. Things happen in your dream does not mean anything toward your friend. MAybe you always think about bad things that is why you dream about it.
