It sounds like it is two babies crying or an echo. It is hard to describe. The doctor said that she does it like a she throwing her voice does but that doesn't sound right. It sorta vibrates. We just know its different. Everything else is normal. We just don't know if something we should worry about. We like just to know how she is doing it or if something wrong. She has cried like that since she was born.

If the doctor is aware of it I wouldn't worry. However, if you are really concerned then get a second opinion. Good luck!

If she's cried like that since she was born then it must be a normal cry for her. When my third child was born she mewled like a kitten, and it sounded so strange! We even nicknamed her KatieCat, which has stuck and now she's seven she's not too thrilled about THAT I can tell you!
If Your Granddaughter seems fine in all other respects, I wouldn't worry, her voice will change as she matures.
Does she cough when she cries or catch her breath? If she does, see the Doc again..

Its not really that unique. My nephew had the same thiong. I'll admit it sounded very weird, almost like hearing a reverb from his throat, but eventually by around the age of 1 1/2 it thinned out and now he's perfectly normal, except for the fact that he's tone perfect!!!

Maybe she's just different it's possible. If she's healthy I don't see what the problem is. If your dr doesn't think there's a problem then don't worry about it if other problems arrise then get her checked out. Good luck!

She sounds like a very unique individual. I wouldn't worry. Cherish her indiviuality and when someone comments about it, smile and say "it is different, isn't it?"

it could be a painful cry or a sick cry. have her checked out by your dr. it could just be how she sounds and cries.
