Lets face it they had one good year 1996 produced 4 albums, loads of number 1s then quit. Who am i talking about yes its the Spice girls it's in there eyes that they want to reform why don't they. It wouldn't be a bad thing will it.

Reasons as to why the spice girls were amazing!!
1, They were unique. There were no other major global girl bands around at the time. Esp who were British. They were formed by an ad yes.. but soon quit to meet Simon Fuller. Most people seem to think it was all marketing that made them successful. Personally, I think Fuller saw the potential, thier energy and spark and used the mass global media system and popular culture of the time to spur them on. The Spice Girls were a marketers dream, not a product of a marketer.
2, Although not playing their own instruments they did have major input into the writing of the songs. Those songs of which were great pop songs, covering r&b, contemporary and funky pop. They didnt droan on like oasis about how pants life is living in Manchester, thats just reminisant of the 60's angry young man film era where everyone kinda came out of it thinking... what exactly was there point? The Spice Girls were positive, and showed a very politically disatisfied country what it meant to have a sense of humour again.
3, they conquered the entire world. unlike robbie and oasis who can only wish.. they did it. And not copying the latest american music trends or some ealry rock and roll genre. The guy who first signed Britney once said in an interview 'if it wasnt for the spice girls i wouldnt have even thought about signing britney, they made it ok for girls to sing, express there sexuality and have fun without having to be off the wall like madonna'
4, my last point here. They were five girls, not the best singers, with a dream and had a mad 3 years at the very top. They went in, made a lot of noise, made great memorable pop music, sang 105 live shows across the world. They are the true representation of british music in the 90's, rock and roll had already been done. hip hop didnt come in till the late 90's and is only now at its peak. like it or not, The spice girls rocked the decade!!! they are and always will be unforgettable!
so NO it wouldn't be a bad thing if they got back together - however I am not sure their sucess would be as great as Take Thats have been since they have come back - I think the spice Girls fitted a niche market at the time - and although I would be overjoyed to see them do just one more song together - many wouldn't!!!

All of the girls will reunite apart from one, she is too busy moving to USA! Or too up herself and lacks talent. This was reason why they wont reunite, they were asked to do a one off for charity but posh wont
