Try edmunds.com if it's a new car.

If it's an older car then you may have to look elsewhere. Just try typing in the make and model of your car and "top speed" and Google that. You'll probably find it.

If you just want a rough estimate, most economy cars can do 95-105 mph. The average midsized sedan with a V6 can probably break 115 mph. A newer faster sedan with a V6 can push 130+ mph.

Most sports cars can do 140-150+

Serious sports cars can do closer to around 200 mph.

Ry Ry has a good answer. U can also get on an open road & put the petal to the metal. If U get pulled over tell em your cruse control messed up. Just an Idea. I got my Dodge P/ up to 135 & still was not 2 the floor. 2 vets passed me like I was sittin still. I was much younger then. I don't think I would do that again.
