I want to sell items over the internet. The package would be under 2lbs in most cases. Who provied the best rates?

I'm sure Fedex has the same thing; but I use UPS's campusship frequently and it is easy as hell to use.

Both companies should have calculators on their websites. You should also consider the USPS, especially if it doesn't need to be over-nighted.
Whatever the rates...the shipping and handling costs should be passed on to your customers. A lot of sites have different shipping rate choices and are based on location of where item is shipped to. If I were you I'd research how to give the customer those options.
