If so, where? What type of degree does it take? Is it boring? Do you get to go to Crime Scenes and do fingerprinting? What company do you work for?

You probably would not need a degree in order to take the fingerprints of a suspect in the police station, just a modicum of training. But you would need a degree in forensic science in order to conduct crime scene fingerprinting. I suspect that it wouldn't be boring, because fingerprinting wouldn't be the only thing you'd be doing. Like on the show CSI, you'd be combing crime scenes for all type of forensic evidence, including clothing fibers, bodily fluids, and footprints. With a degree in forensic science, you'd almost definitely be working for the police or a government intelligence agency. The only other job that would make use of those skills might be private investigation.
