I had a pretty limited high school experience, and I'm still in college, but I can tell you that, yes, college is *way* better than high school. College is a choice, while high school is forced upon kids. Not only is it a choice to attend college at all, but once you're there, you can choose what classes you want to take, based on your own interests. That alone makes for an incredibly richer learning environment, and a much more enjoyable experience.
Along with that, there are almost-limitless amounts of activities and groups on every college campus, and chances are very high that there'll be at least a couple to suit you.
So yup, college is way better than high school. The only downside is that, unless you're lucky and get a scholarship or something, it's pretty expensive. I'm only in the 2nd half of my sophmore year, and I already owe about $17,000 in student loans. That's ok, though.....it just makes me appreciate the experience that much more.

top five reasons why college is better than high school
1.) you can start class at a decent hour (like noon)
2.) you live on your own (no parents breathing down your neck)
3.) you choose courses that interest you (in your major)
4.) you can miss class and no one cares(unless you have a crazy professor)
5.) you have much more than four minutes to get to your next class!
*the cliques in college aren't as pronounced either...

Yes. Thats where people really don't care that you are wearing some brand of clothing. They don't care what kind of car you drive. It becomes more of a buckle down and lets get ready to enter the real world.
