Triumphs with fst food - knowing how to order and getting something healthy. I ahevlearned recently how to order at fast food places and get healthy meals. At Carl's Jr I now order the grilled chicken with peppers, onion and tomato. No bun, mayo or any of he other stuff. Add an iced tea with lemon and you have a healthful meal. At Wendy's I order healthy by getting the baked potato with chives, side salad with lowfat dressing and mangos - these are my triumphs.

Tragedies are when I recently ordered a seeminly great breakfast bagel meal at Einstien Bagels when I didn't get the egg whites that I hoped for and also was surpprised when I bit into to it to be eating sausage - I specifically asked for no meats because they (specifically beef based products) make me VERY sick - even jsut a little. My other recent tragic moment was when I went to Roberto's and ordered a quesadilla assuming it was the one vegetarian thing on the menu and found out that they cook the quesadillas on the grill - the same grill that all of the meats go on in effect, this makes the vegetarian stuff non-veggie. I think that when grills are used to cook non meat items it needs to be disclosed because there are a lot people (like me) who get sick even with the smallest amounts of beef fat or others who do not eat meat products because of personal beliefs.
