I'm a recent college graduate looking to go on to Law School. Obviously I want to take some form of test prep before I take the LSAT but I am confused as to which test pre program is the best. There's Kaplan, PowerScore and Princeton Review. Any help in deciphering which one of the three is the best would be greatly appreciated! No matter which one I choose, I will be spending well over $1,000 so I want to make sure I'm making a good investment!

I like Kaplan, have no experience with the others so can't comment on them. Warning: you have to be prepared to do a lot of independent studying in addition to the time you spend in LSAT class. If you don't do well in the class, Kaplan lets you take it over for free if you don't feel ready for the test, as long as you didn't miss any classes and you do all the homework.

I would take one. I ended up not going back to law school, but Kaplan's review course really helped me out preparing for the exam. One of the biggest benefits of taking a prep course is that they have timed exams during the course. Once you receive your scores from those exams, you can tailor your test prep to your weaknesses.

I did Kaplan and it worked well for me.
The class was small, the teacher was helpful and I got into a T1 law school- so yay!
A month long class helped me raise my score over 10 points (sorry it was a few years ago, I don't remember the exact number, between 10 and 15).
Good Luck!

Kaplan worked well for me. Heed this warning though - once you go to law school, nothing will be as cheap as it used to be. Bar prep is $$$$$, books for classes are $$$$$, everything you are used to paying for in undergrad, you have in law school, but the prices go up, up, up!
