GOD doesnt have a real name! thats the thing... he is so unique, we can't imagine anything more... our brains cant handle it.

ok think about this....

theres the universe, right? and it goes on forever....

well, where does the universe end? it doesnt... and even if there was a wall, whats on the other side of the wall?

it just keeps going... and thats what god can do... he can make the most miraculous things that we can't even imagine.

but of course there is also the holy trinity

god the fatehr, god the son, and god the holy spirit

probably not and it depends who you listen to, what your religion is or which books you read ...
- the Judeo-Christian bible says God told Moses he was to be called "I am" - Yahweh or Jehova
- others say God's name is Amon/Amen, hence we say Amen after each prayer as an utterance of God's name
- Allah is another name
- Jesus is another
- Vishnu is another
- Amaterasu is yet another
there are thousands more and does it really matter what God's name is so long as we all believe in and work towards a society that is fair and just which is basically what all religions try to teach

Even though there is only one God, He has over 400 names. In the bible He tells Moses that His Name is 'I am that I am". I think it roughly translates YHVH.

Take your pick- Yahweh, Jehovah are the two most common "names" given to god.

Um....go watch Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Report back to us, will you?

In the non-snarky answer, Jehovah. Or, I do believe he answers to "hey you" and "hey, you wanker". Probably not in a good way, but then again, my God answers to 'hey, snakehead'.

In Esoteric Judaism, god has 72 names, found in Exodus, via Gematria.

The most important is YHVH [I am that I am] as it represents Tetragrammation.
