What even started this ridiculous battle? Why is it happening?

It all started when Clay Aiken CO-hosted Live with Kelly Ripa. It was right after "Dancing with The Stars" had ended. They had Mario Lopez and his partner on to perform. Now I have always liked Clay, but he has really started to be a very rude person. I was watching the show that day. I never watch that show! I wanted to see Mario dance. Anyway, while Kelly was speaking he took his hand, and put in over her mouth to shut her up, on national TV. This is her show, he is the guest, how rude! She said to Clay, Oh no, I don't know where your hands have been. I would have said the same thing, male, female, whatever! That is gross!!!!! Of course, Rosie, being Gay, said Kelly made a **** remark towards Clay, which is not true!
Rosie, who I use to really like, but I'm beginning to dislike her, because she is constantly using her Hollywood status to speak her mind on national TV, about issues, that shouldn't be opinionated publicly.
Now with Trump, Miss USA, got caught doing drugs and underage drinking. He did not take her crown away. In my personal opinion, she is a role model, and she should have lost her crown. Vanessa Williams didn't get a 2nd chance.
Therefore, Rosie started slamming Trump, who I can't stand, on national TV over his decision, and attacking him personally. If she wanted to say that she thought that Miss USA was a role model, and really screwed up, and thought that her crown should have been taken away, then that would have been fine, but she can't or did not do that. She attack Trump. She made fun of his comb over, etc.
Then Trump retaliated, making nasty remarks about Rosie. The feud goes on!

you've some solid factors, yet I agree better with the Donald in this one. First, Rosie all started it. And 2d, the failings Trump suggested were real. i'm getting a touch ill of it although. precise this second Rosie changed into spouting off back saying how Donald changed into "obsessed" such as her, etc. Donald would not understand at the same time as to stop both.

It started when Miss America got caught tramping around New York and it irked Rosie, that someone like Donald Trump (who has no morals) was making a morals based decision about some young girl's life and career. Rosie was not against giving Tara a 2nd chance, she just thought Donald Trump was a poor choice to be making the decision. Donald has acted like a two year old ever since.

I think the "battle" started when Rosie, as usual, said something nasty about Donald. Donald Trump then retaliated. Then' it has continued by going back and forth, while getting very tiring. At first, I thought this was just Rosie being Rosie but now I think it may only be a "ratings booster".

Rosie O'Donnell started the whole thing the day or so after the beauty peagant scandal by making fun of the peagant winner to which Trump gave her a second chance at the title. Well, it's typical of her - she's always criticizing other celebs anyway - she should talk. Her slate isn't clean either. Rosie insulted the peagant winner because I'm assuming Rosie didn't believe the girl should have gotten a second chance at the title because of her past alcohol problem. Well, Trump likes blondes and that's the reason, in my opinion, why he gave that girl a second chance - didn't want to see a nice, pretty young blonde getting disqualified, with the chances of a brunette taking her place. Of course, neither Rosie or Donald know what morals are 'cause neither one of them show they have any.
Anyway, it's getting to be old news I'm tired of listening to it. I wish the media would move on to some more intelligent news broadcasts instead of wasting airtime with that garbage.
