Many Jews worked for Stalin...

Stalin (like Lenin) was generally opposed to anti-semitism as were the beliefs of his party. However, after WWII he planned the "Jewish Doctor's Plot." This plot was derived from the fact that Stalin believed that Jewish doctors were trying to poison him.

In Russia,from the tsars to Stalin the Jews were treated with persecution, prejudice and even murder. That is why there was a mass exodus to Israel and the US and Europe. There were definitely not under his protection as well as the rest of his "enemies."
