My fiancee attended his close friends wedding in June...they sent him a thank you card in November...lol. He gave them about 200 dollars. Since then, I haven't like that couple...but I wouldnt tell my fiancee not to continue to be friends with them...he's known them for a really long time. But I'd just prefer that I never be around them. So was I wrong to think they were dead wrong to send that card in November? I would have stopped dealing with them if it were me...but it wasnt...its my fiancee and he isnt like me..lol

that is pretty late to send out thank you cards, but they could have been busy also. i feel that the only reason this bothered you was because you don't care for your fiancee's friend. i don't like one of my boyfriends best friends, but it's not my place to tell him who he should be friends with. he has told me that he don't care for some of my friends, but we respect each other and the friendship we built with our friends. you should let it go, it's better that they sent the card in november rather then not at all, you can say that they still thought of him 5 months later.

Some couples don't realize they should make the time to promptly thank their guests for showing up and for their gifts. If they weren't too busy to accept the gifts, they sure can't be too busy to thank people for the gifts.

I went to a wedding where the couple "didn't have the money for thank-yous & stamps". So I can understand your feelings.

Don't let their poor etiquette get to you. Don't allow this to be an issue between you and your fiance. Their late thank-you isn't good enough reason to end a relationship.

It took them awhile but, don't be mad because maybe for some strange reason they just couldn't get things together to send them early. I understand you not wanting to be around them, that's ok but don't be ugly to them to there faces. Trust me what goes around comes around.

Get over it. You'll have bigger problems in life to deal with.
