We interfered in Iraq when there was noone dying. Now when there is a damn good reason for us to go in Darfur, why are we just sitting here nad doing nothing???

The sad truth is, we are not interfering in Darfur because the government doesn't see any real value in doing so... Iraq has the wealth of oil deposits which our government sought to exploit when we invaded.

Darfur, which has experienced a horrible genocide, simply doesn't stand high on the priority list for the sick leaders of our government.

It's wrong and terrible, but there's not much we can do about it. Especially, for example, when we do the same for Israel, giving them $4 billion in aid every year, etc.

Basically, the US government only intervenes if it would be beneficial, somehow.

Please do understand that the USA of a is engaged (even if willingly or not, contained in the call of freedom or oil is entirely depending on your attitude) in loads of alternative factors of the international. surely although I have a tendency to imagine that Darfur is being skipped over deliberately because it somewhat does have not something to grant the USA of a in words of the USA of a's strategic aims. It once back jogs my memory of Rwanda in 1994 at the same time as the USA of a and the international skipped over the undesirable Tutsis in that u . s . a . till 800000 of them murdered. Rwanda, a lifeless ringer for Darfur skill not something to the USA of a's common nationwide pastimes. you could also say that the U. S. received't flow to Darfur because with the topics in Iraq and Afghanistan (and lately North Korea) the U. S. isn't prepared to flow to a unique position that could want to bring about a repeat of "Blackhawk Down". And at the same time as we are at it the position is the UN...at the same time as the USA of a received't care about Darfur, as representative of the civilized international the UN ought to a minimum of action human beings to act because it has the crucial to succeed in this...yet for some reason are literally not doing it. definite...its looking lots back like 1994.
