I'm a QB of a private football team, and have a new official NFL composite ball. We are allowed to supply our own ball, and as a QB that could be a nice advantage. The problem is the ball is still new and "slick" feeling. How would you reccomend breaking it in faster than it naturally wants to?

Cheers!

The footballs used in the NFL are not "composite". Anyway just use it in practice for a week, then use it.

I did this....go to like a sporting goods store and get some "pine tar". Rub it on the ball, nottttttt alot but just a small amount. I swear to God it works

After you "break it in" it's all used up.
