What's the best way to rank user comments... 5 stars method, thumbs up/down method, etc.?

apparently... yahoo thinks by their new stars. I like using the thumbs up and down.. it gives everyone (over level 1) the opportunity to post how they feel. Stars (old ones) only let 1 person express how they feel
