I see kids, my cousin for instance that don't go to church, that don't even believe in God. There's lack of morals out there. Tv is literally softporn now in days. Gangs are growing more. Most of the music is trash now. If society is like this today what will become of the next generation? How can we help it?

Go back to basic, build on strong family ties, parents should spend more time with kids. When the kids grow up, they will in turn be a good role model and parents to their own kids.

There maybe a lack of morals, but really what is the cause of this?
Have illegal drugs, which tend to make one unfocused and additionally combined with negative influences aggravate behavior, damaged society?
Ruthless gangs are something that needs to be addressed, but how? Perhaps the youth need better circumstances to grow up in and not to have violence glorified through mass media.
The music I'm not too worried about for the most part, and there is some that is brilliant, if you care to look close enough for it.
Questions that are at least equally important for the next generation would include global warming and in the US, the national debt. Clinton said, "there is nothing wrong with America that cannot be cured by what is right with America." I would like to believe that.
I think that many people have been greatly misled, and that human nature is good, as long as it's not tampered with by deviant influences, which has happened throughout history.

Belief in gods has nothing to do with morals. Morals are deeper than that. Society today is no more immoral than it was 100 or 10,000 years ago. Today people don't need to build walled cities to stop invading armies from killing everyone. Today people live twice as long as they did 200 years ago. Things are MUCH BETTER than they were, at least in the developed world. Read some history, don't listen to the doom sayers preaching from the pulpits, don't watch TV. Get out more and do something to help the needy and improve society instead of just complaining.

first of all, you don't have to follow the "christian" faith to have morals/or a lack of morals, for that matter. stop judging others who do not believe or act exactly as you do, or as you would want them to, judging others is morally wrong. I do agree with some of your statements, ( I don't think that anyone would disagree that gang violence is not a negative), but what the world really needs to understand is that healing and acceptance of individuality should be the first step in combating this problem that you describe. It's a diffferent world than what we grew up in, on some level we have to accept the times, along with keeping things on a positive level.

People are just pushing the envelope, but I think people will get sick of the perversion pretty quickly and start to go back. At least that is the way I am going about it. I don't listen to trash or watch the trash on television. This is my generation and it sickens me.

Human society is in a transitional phase between the "Old World Order", which was dominated by violence and disunity and the "New World Order" which will be characterized by the unification of the entire human race in one world civilization and one world federal government. This will culminate in the spiritual and physical unification of our planet.

The intermediate stage is characterized by the destruction of older institutions, the disintegration of traditional religious institutions and the rise in immorality, etc. These signs may seem negative, but they are indicative that we are in transition.

The solution is for children to be educated in spiritual and moral principles, based on the eternal virtues taught in every religion: love, honesty, moderation, justice, tolerance, etc. Children must also be taught to consider the interests of the whole above particular interests. This includes being taught the concept of world citizenship. They should love their country, but consider the interests of the whole of mankind above their own national interests, i.e. what's best for the world, not what's best for the USA in particular. They must be taught to respect the equality of men and women, to overcome racial prejudice, to recognize the commonality of religion and the oneness of God. They must be taught to practice what they preach.

We are in trouble, but God hasn't given up on Human Beings yet. I do have faith that many people will turn their lives around before it is too late.

You know who else said that? Your parents, and grandparents, and great-great-grandparents, and....

You know who'll say that next? Your kids, and grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and...

Seriously, look for the good and stop looking for evil. If you look for good, you'll find good. Stop fearing the new. Stop fearing the young. Remember what you were.
