Being without a formal education in these matters, my response is based solely on my experiences and observations. Right off the hip –

I would say knowledge comes in, at least, 5 ways: Inherently, instinctively, intuitively, from perceptions and through conditioning.

Initially we accept knowledge that we accumulate from all of those sources equally, but as our intellect develops, we tend to only accept knowledge accrued thru perception and conditioning.

As a result, every persons version of reality is unique to them.

What we see we adopt or adapt to. Sponges for information and curiosity like a cat that makes us pursue the mouse which is knowledge of how things are in the world and thru history we see how things came to be thru trial and error. Trying to do the things we do if they fail and if they succeed and then determining the end result. We are in agreement with ideas.

do you look around and think trees are beautiful or smell some good Chinese food wafting from across the street. where do you think all those thoughts come from. your knowledge of your world and all its surroundings useless without the thought process and the mental drive to stop and register all that you see and hear and all that knowledge comes from things we learn in books and what what our emotions tell us
