First of all, did you sign up to use PayPal? Because if you did, you need to set up an account. But if you didn't, and are planning on paying in and receiving payments in personal checks or money orders, then they should not be asking for your account info. Was it emails that was asking for your account info, or were you at the Ebay website? If it was an email, DO NOT give the info. Check the email address that it was sent from. Most likely it will look like something suspicious, or something that doesn't look official. Just to be safe, go the the Ebay website, and then to the security link (very bottom of page). They should give you directions on what to do.

I have bought books on ebay. And tried to sell stuff on it. The only way I have had to enter a checking acc number is if I wanted to use paypal. And, I like it better than any other means of payment, because you are garunteed payment with paypal.
Email me or im me and let me know what books you have. I love to read!

Ebay is risk-free, purely verify the comments of the guy you're figuring out to purchase from. in the event that they have too many negatives, you do not % to handle them. you will pay in in spite of variety the vendor demands. in case you pay for something and don't get carry of it or it is broken, you may often artwork it out with the vendor for a reimbursement or exchange. Request some variety of monitoring huge sort. do not take care of people who % to furnish you an authorized verify for better than what you're merchandising for. this could be a rip-off. bypass to the ebay sellers internet site, and it will stroll you in the process the approach. you may deliver products foreign places with maximum kit transport centers inclusive of the US Mail.
