OK so honestly the diet isnt very important to getting pregnant, but once you are you will definatly want to try to change that so that the babys getting (and you) the nutrients needed. You smoke and smoking reduces fertility. It reduces fertility to almost half of what a healthy normal fertilty would be. I know lots of people get pregnant while being smokers (I was one of them) But smoking does reduce your fertility and could be the only thing stopping you from getting pregnant. Also If your husband smokes, smoking also reduces his sperm count and the sperm activness, so if its important to both of you to conceive and also to the benifit of your health and your babys health quit before he/she comes along and is forced to smoke (seconhand) him/her self. Also smoking while pregnant causes premature babies and can miscariage. Good Luck with everything. I hope this helped!

Relax!!!!!!! 4 months is not that long. There is only a small window of days each month where you can get pregnant so a lot of times, it takes several months before one gets pregnant. If after a year, you are still not pregnant I would talk to an OB about it. my adivice is have sex as much as possible! Also, ake sure you are taking prenatal vitamins. the foods you eat now should not really affect you getting pregnant but once you are pregnant you really should think about eating healthy foods since you will be having another human growing inside of you.
Good luck!

diet has nothing to do with it. It took me a year and a half to get pregnant. Then 3 years later my second pregnancy, I was pregnant within 1 week of trying. You really should stop smoking now before you get pregnant. Smoking's really bad for the baby.

Hi,
The best time to get pregnant are days 11 thru 18 form the day of your period, that's when you are ovulating. I used that method and it worked for us.
Also, if you think you need some weight that could also casue it, a friend of mine was told by her doctor to lose 20 pounds, and that would increase her chance of getting pregnant. Lots of luck to you!

About 10 - 14 days after your period ends, you will start to ovulate. You will notice this slimmy whitish substance, this substance helps the sperm swim to the egg. Your time to get pregnant is very small, 2-3 days during the month and you have to catch that time precisely. It can take up to one year before you become pregnant, be patient. Keep trying and watch for that substance. Good luck!

Make sure you are having sex when you are fertile. I have heard that there are only 3 days in a month that you are fertile. It is about 14 days after your period starts.
Good Luck

I personally think your diet could play a big role in pregnancy. Also you may be getting stressed out over the entire situation. The timing has to be just right to conceive, the body temperatures have to be right and everything.

4 months is not long enough to be worried about it. First you need to learn to chart so you can know when you are ovulating. Use OPKs, BBT and check your CM. Chart and BD at the right time and I bet you will get your BFP in no time.

i think you answered your own question with your beginning statements. also 4 months is not really that long when i was trying for my third it took me 10 months to conceive. get an ovulation kit from the supermarket and find your best days to "do it".
