Light is quite real, although some of its properties (like those of all matter) may strike you as abstract when you first start to study advanced physics. Don't worry, though. The light you've been seeing in your eyeballs your entire life isn't just a figment of your imagination.

Light is an abstract form of matter, where the medium which it passes through is real, that is a static frame of reference of dimensions, by latest theory, there are 7 dimensions with set of two each, abstract and real dimension 7nos. each,
Light is the 7th abstract dimension.
