I thought that I already had the virus protection with Yahoo but I was downloading Norton Antivirus Software but because I have an error message it didn't complete the download. I have twelve infected files and I don't know what to do. Help.

Use both on-line scans.
1. Scan for virus and remove (free online scan, no download) with BitDefender.

You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at

download avg free 7.5 and avg free 7.5 anti spy then just do a scan. you can also get other free anti-virus and anti-spy software from other providers such as mcafee, spybot, ad-aware. even the norton site has free anti-virus software. though there are many very good full function programs from various companies, there are so many free programs, many just use them. you can even go to microsoft and download the full function trial of live onecare. any infection you have can be removed using one or more of these programs. i have the full blown norton internet, but i also have avg's free ones. i have thought about adding spy-bot but don't really need it since norton is just as good.
