Excellent Question!

This is why dem Dems don't want to cut off funding to Bush's little war. This is a step by step analysis of what happens if funding is cut.

1. Dems cut off funding to war
2. Troops forced to come home
3. Iraq falls to the Sadr forces
4. Limbore, Shammity, Fox, etc tell America that the Dems lost Iraq to the Shiites.
5. Americans believe that Iraq is the Dems' fault and elect a Republican for President in 2008
6. The new President starts several new wars with Iran, Syria, Yemen, etc. etc.

That is why the D's aren't excited to cut off funding.

Umm, I'm not sure what your asking exactly, but I'll try my best anyway. I have a friend who's a republican, and he says that we can't bring the troops home yet because it would incite a civil war in the middle east and they could end up in a similar position. This is probably why our government hasn't brought them home yet, we can't usurp a govenment in another country without helping them to start one better than the one we left.

Both sides of the isle voted to invade Iraq.
And both sides of the isle presently have a consensus that leaving at the present time would be disastrous.
Even the democrats aren't blind to the possible consequences of an Islamic terrorist controlled Middle East.

So the way to bring them home is to stop sending supplies to them? Isn't that what all you leftists are proposing?

I could be wrong here, but doesn't no funding=no things like bullet proof vests, ammunition, equipment, etc?

Even the libs aren't that stupid.

Any medling with the Commander in cheif will shift blame for any failure to the Dems. As it stands this is totally Bush's war. hard to blame Clinton or Carter so far back.

The Commander is Bush, he has the say so, the ball is in his court, and the Dems will not stop funding for the troops.
Bush is using the his same old speech trying to make people think that no one supports the troops.....
