my favorite tactic that Alexander the great used was when he took the city of Babylon which is in mordern day Iraq. what he did was he layed siege the city and oderd he's men to surround the city in type of shoe horse formation. The order came to charge on the tenth day, the battle lasterd 2hours. The king was captured and then had he's hands cut of off then he has hung

he used to run away fakily and wen the horse men of the others would follow his army would get time to fight from people on ground
