Some people believe that girls and boys should be able to play on the same team. What is your opinion on this issue? Support your opinion with reasons!

Title IX has made big improvements in women's sports. It requires schools to have the same number of women's sports as mens sports, and to distribute the money appropriately. If you reserach Title IX it will provide you with the best answer to yoru question. The people who came up with Title IX put a lot of research into it, and are much more aware of the issues than we are.
What Title IX does state is that women are allowed to play on mens teams if there is no equivalent women's sport offered. This is why women can play on football and wrestling teams. I feel like this is fair, but in return men are not allowed to play on womens teams. My HS only had women's volleyball, but men could not play on the team. Something to think about.
Also I think the mixing of the genders is approproate in youth sports. Elementary girls are often bigger and better than boys at the elementary level anyway.

I think that if the sport that they want to play is what they like then they should be able to play. Girls can play football if that is what they enjoy doing. And boys can do ballet if they wanted to. Girls can be just as agressive as boys can so I think that if they think they are able to play with the big boys then they should be able to. So I guess it all depends on what they want to do.

I HAD A GIRL NAMED JILL ON MY SOCCER TEAM IN HIGH SCHOOL AND SHE WAS BETTER THAN HALF THE GUYS ON THE TEAM. I DON'T SEE A REASON WHY A WOMAN SHOULD NOT PLAY A MEN SPORT IF SHE IS GOOD ENOUGH TO MAKE THE TEAM.

DEPENDS ON SPORT iN SOME CASES i DO BELiEVE SPORTS SHOULD BE CO-ED BUT FOR EXAMPLE i DON'T THiNK GiRLS SHOULD BE DOiN WRESTLiN AGAiNST GUYS BUT iN SPORTS SUCH AS BASEBALL(ONLY iF THEY DONT HAVE A SOFTBALL TEAM FOR GiRLS)/SOCCER/FOOTBALL EVEN GiRLS iF THEY HAVE THE HEART AND POWER THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO JOiN A BOYS TEAM AND ViCE VERSA GUYS SHOULD BE ABLE TO JOiN VOLLEYBALL AND OTHER GiRLS SPORTS

i think any one can play sports any girls or boys and please include girls they don't need to be left out
