The Wan port of the d-link is fed by my linksys router. Both computers are running OS X. I cannot get rid of the d-link because a certain device I have can only work on that type of router. Any answers or ideas are greatly appreciated.

simple printer sharing is within the same home network. You have 2, ouch!
You can play with the configuration for the d-link so it's not functioning as a router, just a bridge... ouch!

You can put the second mac on the d-link too! easiest.

Assuming the 2 machines can talk to each other (require some configuring (ouch)), you can use tcp/ip printer sharing.

I run 3 routers at home now... it's not pretty for printer sharing. I usually just save the printout as pdf and iChat or mail it to the machine with the printer.

Just install the printer directly on any one of your computers, then set it for sharing and install it's software on all others and they can print away.
