Okay, back in December I bought this item on eBay. I paid for it with this thing the seller's company called "andale checkout". Anyway, it charged my account and I can get bank statements showing that the money was taken out of the account. (I know it was). Anyway, the guy was rude, the product showed up crappy and nothing like advertised, and he was so rude and unhelpful and wouldn't refund or replace my product. So I left him horrible feedback. So now, almost a month later, I get this thing in my email that says he is claiming I never paid for the item. I sent him a message but he never responds. What can he do to me and what should I do? Delete my eBay account, call eBay, or what?

I'd call EBay and provide them with your bank statement and let them know not only were you bamboozled (with a side of flim flam) but he is also trying to double dip! What a jerk!!!

Contact ebay and tell them what is going on

they will get your money back and deal with the criminal

the sucky part is this guy sounds like a psyco pathic liar.. and he has your home address.

but anyway get ahold of ebay and your police. print of the statements from your bank and if you still have a URL to the page he was advertising the item as print that off. and show your item.

your best bet is call ebay and tell them then email them the URL.. a copy of your bank statement.. and picture of the product he sent

I would say contact EBay Customer service. Have on hand you transaction or order number, the amount paid, the item, the sellers name, ID, etc... I never purchased anything off of EBay, but that's the best that I can come up with.

You should get on eBay and go to the live help section. If you send him any emails, also send them to yourself so that you could print them out and show that they were sent.
If you have a bank statement showing you paid, then don't worry about it. Don't delete your account. That'll just screw things up and make it harder to solve.

EBay is like George Bush, doesn't give a damn about people, and it's all about profits.

Good luck trying to get any help from them. EBay is always on 60 Minutes because of people getting ripped off and all of the stolen goods and terrorist funded "designer" merchandise that is trafficked thru that website.

If it sounds too good to be true, it's probably on EBay.

Definately contact Ebay with all the info on the sale.
Check the original listing to see if he offered any type of refund policy.
Also contact your bank and see if they have any measures that will assure unauthorized charges on that account.

If you paid for it and have proof that his company recieved the money, then you have nothing to worry about. If all you have is something saying andale checkout recieved the money, you should try to reach them and see what they can offer you. They may have proof that he recieved the money. You should be safe. Make sure you save everything!

Sorry puddin, after I saw a couple of FAKE Louis Vuitton handbags that friends of mine had purchased on eBay, I knew I wanted nothing to do with that mess {they actually thought they were getting "authentic"...I told them not to buy that mess, we have an actual Vuitton boutique only about 30 miles from here!}....anyway....I have heard nothing but horror stories about eBay and how people are constantly getting ripped.

Good luck...

Do NOT delete your eBay account. That is not an example of a criminal, and I'm afraid there is nothing you can do. Unfortuantly, you need to pay. You could call eBay, but I don't know how much they can do. You are legally obligated to pay.
